Some of the problems in data collection, retrieval, and reporting are summarized. The Strong-Campbell Interest Inventory, with a vocational title called Optometry, was used to profile a sample of second-year optometry students and to compare them with samples of practicing optometrists. One conclusion questions these students' compatibility with older practitioners. (MLW)

A survey of allied health professionals responsible for adult handicapped clients showed that a majority did not participate in sexual rehabilitation tasks. Most held favorable attitudes toward the tasks, but felt their professional preparation was inadequate. (SK)

Undergraduates in clinical placement formed a team within a larger clinical team and attended problem-based tutorials. Data from exit interviews, surveys, and team conferences revealed discomfort with the preceptors' role, peer support among students, improved communication styles, and mutual learning between students and professionals.
