Behaviorally disturbed children are treated through the Pediatric/Adolescent Primary Care Unit at Rhode Island Hospital in a program designed to combine the care of children with behavior problems and the training of pediatric residents. The relationship between 15 emotional indicators on the Bender Gestalt Test and the acting out behavior of 93 children, ages 5 to 12, as rated by their teachers, was investigated.
