The study sought: (1) to assess incidence of cheating in large high school sample; (2) to evaluate relationship between socioeconomic level and cheating; (3) to ascertain whether teachers have the ability to predict cheating behavior; and (4) to replicate previous findings regarding the relationship between cheating and both grades and IQ. Data on the concurrent validity of the McCarthy Scales, using two Wechsler Scales for Children as criteria, were compared with those of previous studies. Significant moderate to strong correlations at preschool and school-age levels between the General Cognitive Index of the McCarthy and Wechsler IQ's were noted. (Author/RD)

Intelligence and speech-language development of eight children (3.6 to 11.6 years old) with classic galactosemia were assessed by standardized tests.
