Elementary and secondary preservice and inservice teachers were given a short training program in Interaction Analysis. Pre and post multiple choice tests were administered, and subjects showed a 20 percent increase in mean score. Discusses whether counselors are unintentionally influencing students' career choices through language, programing, counseling, career resource materials, campus and public media, and campus recruitment. Determined effects of time limits on interview behavior of Type A and B persons. Type A and B participants discussed positive and negative aspects of social life with counselors in time-limited or time-unlimited conditions.
