Religious Education and White Religious Nationalism
Steven Frye1
New Directions for Adult and Continuing Education, n186 p43-50 2025
This paper investigates how religious educators can engage the growing threat of White Christian nationalism during a time of strong political divisions that affect nearly every aspect of society. After exploring the depth of WCN's impact on the current political landscape, theoretical concepts will be explored that can inform religious educators as they seek best practices. With a focus on practical application, a series of recommendations will be presented that can be utilized in faith-based settings. The article will conclude with a listing of useful and applicable resources.
