A class of naive estimators of correlation was tested for robustness, accuracy, and efficiency against Pearson's r, Tukey's r, and Spearman's r. Twelve variance-analytical and nonparametrical coefficients of reliability for rating scales designed for rating persons were compared to each other theoretically and empirically.
