Hypotheses about sex differences and inter-social role and intra-work role conflict were tested in a university setting. Results indicate that inter-role conflict is primarily a function of the number of social roles held. There was no number of social roles by sex interaction. (Author)

This study examined blood pressure levels of married women in relation to such work-related variables as work load, satisfaction with work, reported strain, and evaluated performance. Differences in work load were unrelated to blood pressure levels. However, currently unemployed working women had lower levels. (Author)

Male and female counselors (N=88) viewed videotaped vignettes of two 35-year old women and two 20-year old women who portrayed problems about feared rape, existential anxiety, and choice of college major. Results indicated the two personal-social problems were rated as more serious than vocational problems on all dependent measures. (Author)

This study was conducted on the Counselor Evaluation Rating Scale (CERS). Ratings on 404 students from approximately 35 different supervisors were factor-analyzed using an oblique solution with rotation to simple loadings.
