A model for predicting the impact of retrenchment on public education was tested for validity, using data from an inner-city high school confronted with revenue loss. Peer reviewedWalberg, Herbert J.; Tsai, Shiow-Ling – Educational Research Quarterly, 1983
The science achievement scores of 1,284 adults on a test of science knowledge were regressed on three composite independent variables: motivation, and prior and current educative experiences.
