In reversing an expulsion order for a high-school student suffering from (undiagnosed) ADD, a federal district court judge has limited schools' ability to punish students with disabilities for serious offenses like vandalism. A study compared the sensory responses of 70 children aged 3-15 whose primary diagnosis was Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and 70 children without disabilities.
