Swift, John Stewart, Jr. – National Academic Advising Journal, 1989
A study of 535 students in probation or suspension status at the University of Toledo's University College, 77 percent of whom were adults, revealed patterns of enrollment, transfer, attendance, course load, and course completion. The results are presented and a special intervention program created after the study is described briefly. (MSE)

Infants of depressed mothers who were visited at home outperformed infants of depressed mothers who received no intervention services by an average of 10 points on the Bayley Mental Scale and were twice as likely to be classified as securely attached. Unserved, high-risk infants showed a high rate of insecure-disorganized attachments. (RH)

After special education resource teachers (n=27) were taught to use a standard trend estimation procedure as an aid in visual analysis of their students' charts, interrater agreement with reliability judges increased from .56 to .78.
