Children's preferences for peers and adults with black or white skin were examined in a semistructured, doll-play interview. Results were discussed in terms of the increasingly favorable perceptions shown by black children for others of like skin color and the implications for selection of adult role models. (Editor/TA)

The Cornell Parent Behavior Inventory and Moral Dilemmas Test were administered to 146 girls and 123 boys in New Zealand. Boys with high parental support factor scores had higher mean scores on the Moral Dilemmas Test. The girls' parent perception factor scores did not relate to the Moral Dilemmas Test. (Author)
