The authors present a quick and simple procedure for observing four behaviors relevant to classroom management: student disruption, student attention, and the teacher's use of both positive and negative events. In discussing how the teacher can achieve desirable attitudinal changes in students, the author attempted to clarify what seemed to be some unclarifiable paradoxes regarding affective objectives.
