Following the study of Gibson & Curran (1974) on hypnotic susceptibility, a further sample of 45 subjects was tested on the Eysenck Personality Inventory (EPI) and a modified form of the Stanford Hypnotic Susceptibility Scale (SHSS) in precisely the same way. (Editor/RK)

A replication study was conducted to retest the validity of the Neuropsychiatric Hospital Suicide Potential Scale. Fifty four patients who had committed suicide and fifty who had not were the population studied to test, if possible, the limits of prediction the scale can attain by judging the behavior of these patients.
