Improved awareness of social behavior and increased social observation skills are two contributions of video tape use. Basic video tape equipment may be applied to analyzation of everyday behavior, participant observor training and courses relying on group activities. A group of elementary children were tested for conformity to peers. Results showing the conformity decreased between ages 8 and 11 years and increased to age 13 are discussed in terms of descrepancies among earlier investigations in this area. (Author/KM)
