Construct validity and longitudinal stability evidence for three cluster dimensions of personality identified as Anxiety, Extraversion, and Openness is examined in a sample of adult males. Correlations with Allport-Vernon-Lindsay Value scales, Cornell Medical Index scores, Eysenck E and N scales, and factors from the SVIB are presented. (Author)

This study investigated the effects of videotape feedback on group and self-satisfaction. Subjects' post-meeting satisfaction with group performance was significantly altered after receiving objective feedback through videotape playbacks. This study investigated the effect of two independent variables on the sharing behavior of children. The results indicated that both observing a model share and longer ownership of the item facilitated sharing in these children, although the latter was originally hypothesized to retard sharing. A brief family intervention consisting of training in conflict resolution and contingency management was given to families reporting high rates of parent-child problems of long duration. Jarnecke, Roy W.; Chambers, Eugene D. – Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1977
Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) protocols for 242 acute psychiatric inpatients were scored on the 13 content scales. The age, IQ, and education of each subject were also recorded. Content-scale scores were compared with scores from normal groups and were found to be significantly greater. (Author)

Teacher ratings on the Behavior Problem Checklist of adolescents who were clinically diagnosed as schizophrenic (psychotic) and those who had an adjustment reaction of adolescence (nonpsychotic) were compared. The schizophrenics tended to be rated as more deviant on both the flag items and Inadequacy-Immaturity dimensions of the checklist. (Author)

College freshmen (N=80) who scored near the mean on the Extraversion (E) and Neuroticism (N) scales of the Eysenck Personality Inventory were given falsified score reports. The findings are considered in terms of social desirability and reaction to stereotypical female sex roles. (Author)

Examines the degree to which previous factors shown to be related to morale were isomorphic for aged whites and aged blacks. Results indicate that for Blacks the only two significant predictors of morale were health and participation in solitary activities. For whites, interaction with family and sex were also found to be significant. (Author)
