Using the Imaginal Processes Inventory, aspects of daydreaming and related mental activity were examined in a replication sample of males aged 17 to 91 years. The characteristics of daydreaming obtained in an original sample were obtained in the replication sample, thus supporting the outcomes reported earlier. (Author)

Twelve couples in marital counseling were studied during 12 months on the basis of their biorhythms. For each couple a compatibility percentage was obtained. It was found that difficulties in their interaction correlated highly with dissonance in their biorhythms. (Author)

This study sought to determine which components of a previously successful training procedure are necessary in modifying children's impulsivity. Ratings of vocational competence, marriageability, and interpersonal success were made by male and female subjects of a stimulus person described in a one-page, single-spaced biography. Information about new occupational opportunities for women was read by 144 high school juniors, while 106 other juniors read information about opportunities in general. Results indicate counseling students feel ill-prepared to deal with homosexual clients, are unsure about the etiology of homosexuality, and that female students respond differently from male students regarding many aspects of homosexuality. Scales measuring attitudes toward various unconventional groups were presented to 100 college students and 51 homosexual respondents. Homosexual respondents expressed significantly more tolerant attitudes toward deviantly labeling groups than did student respondents. (Author)
