Expectations of a college environment held by incoming transfer students were compared with the expectations of incoming college freshmen. The results support previous research which suggests the existence of a transfer myth. Transfer students' expectations were also found to be uninfluenced by the type of institution previously attended. (Author)

Each of 96 college females and 95 college males were randomly assigned to either a high or a low subjective probability of outstanding performance condition. The findings are contrary to predictions based on the fear of success hypothesis. Implications of the results for the fear of success hypothesis are discussed. (Author)

This paper investigates the usefulness of the Mini-Mult test with a large outpatient psychiatric clinic population. It also compares Mini-Mult with the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI).
