The relationship between vision and mental functioning was investigated in a study of 295 elderly residents from three levels of care. Visual acuity and mental status were assessed. Findings indicate that there was indeed a relationship between vision and mental status. (Author)

A group approach to vocational counseling is one way to help the students meet their needs. The secondary school counselors in an urban school system organized student groups. This study described the relationship between the affiliation and succorance scales of the Edwards Personal Preference Schedule and each of 32 other test and biographical variables. Student clients (N=137) using the services of a campus ombudsman were asked to define the type of role that the ombudsman was perceived to have and should portray.
