A survey of the N.A.W.D.A.C. membership was conducted in early 1976. The survey was: (1) to provide a profile of current members; (2) to identify ways members perceive the Association; and (3) to identify trends in the profile and status of members by comparing results with a 1970 survey. (Author)

Responses from 331 elderly mothers and 261 elderly fathers were compared on four indexes of filial responsibility expectations with significant gender differences being found in two of the four measures. The findings indicate that women in this cohort tend to expect more filial support than do their male counterparts. (Author)

This paper examines the relationship between level of need for achievement (n-Ach) and degree of achievement opportunity on the job and type of leisure time activities. Findings indicate people who are unable to satisfy their achievement needs on the job are likely to do so in their leisure time activities. (Author)

Relationships between cosmopolitan--local orientation and measures of job performance were examined for 150 technical employees in three architectural firms. Cosmopolitan orientation was positively related to supervisor ratings of following prescribed work hours and supervisor and co-worker ratings of impressing others. (Author)

Using the PGC and LSI indices of adjustment to old age, an empirical typology of adjustors was developed. Cluster analysis was employed to locate three male types of adjustors: Low adjustors, Acceptors, and Fighters, and two female types: Low adjustors and Moderate adjustors.
