Three groups of judges (31 naive college undergraduates, 29 inexperienced graduate student trainees, and 26 experienced professional persons) viewed ten 1-minute videotaped samples of child behavior. Results indicated significant group differences in number of bases used for judging and in the use of insufficient evidence as a base. (Author)

This paper ascertains the degree to which occupational sex-stereotyping is differentially found at different social class levels. Education is found to be strongly correlated with sex-stereotyping of 15 different occupations. Income level, on the other hand, is significantly related to such stereotyping in only two of the 15 cases. (Author)

This study investigated relationships between academic and nonacademic indices of college success and four indices of occupational success of Army officers. Ambulatory geriatric patients (N=370) were rated on the Geriatric Rating Scale and results factor analyzed. The scale was found to be composed of three factors: Withdrawal/Apathy, Antisocial Disruptive Behavior, and Deficits in Activities of Daily Living. Determinants of a favorable attitude toward retirement were sought in an interview study of 179 top executives, age 55 and over in 13 leading Israeli organizations.
