Findings showed that mothers who construed themselves as highly similar to their child manifested more warmth toward that child. This relationship was not influenced by the mothers' social desirability scores. The child's IQ was not related to the main variables in this study. (Author/BEF)

Examines the relationship between disclosure flexibility and a measure of psychological adjustment. Comparisons are made to a sex-adjusted normative profile of appropriate disclosure in 20 social situations. Study indicates that disclosure flexibility is an important correlate of personality health, at least among medium disclosers. (JMF)

The Vocational Preference Inventory (VPA) and the Ohio Work Values Inventory (OWVI) were administered to 115 undergraduates. A two-factor MANOVA was performed with personality types (VPI) and sex as independent variables and work values (OWVI) as dependent variables. The F-ratios for main effects were significant.
