High school students rated women for attractiveness, occupation, and educational background. A positive correlation was found between women perceived to have taken traditionally masculine courses, those perceived to be in careers generally viewed as masculine, and those perceived as physically attractive. A significant result was finding a shift from seeing people as less positive and drugs as more positive when subjects shifted from a normal state of consciousness to a simulated altered state of consciousness.
