Adolescents' religious behavior, measured according to frequency of church attendance, Bible reading, and saying grace at mealtime, generally declined between 1964 and 1974 in the Texas community studied. In 1979, the trend continued among females but reversed among males. The gap between the sexes seems to have narrowed since 1974. (Author/MJL)

Explored effects of race, racial self-designation, sex, and previous counseling experience on preferences of disadvantaged students. Results indicated a slight preference in all disadvantaged groups for a helper of the same sex, age, and race. There was a definite preference for a helper of the same social class background. The effects of increasing the test time to reduce the speediness of verbal and quantitative experimental sections of the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) Aptitude Test were investigated.
