The self-reported health status and life satisfaction of 286 Duke University medical students were measured at the beginning and end of the school year and compared with relevant sociodemographic and behavioral factors. A total of 281 public school speech-language pathologists nationwide rated their degree of job satisfaction on 34 critical variables.
