Children's (ages 8-12) interactive social responses to computers were examined. Results showed that students had not considered the social implications of using another's data. When infringements of their rights to privacy took place, students demanded penalties. Students showed preference for group problem-solving strategies. (RM)

Evaluated the adjustment of 31 employees to a transition from private or semiprivate rooms to an open-space office. Adjustment was assessed by means of a job satisfaction model with three independent variables: job context, job content, and privacy. Surveyed directors (N=109) of clinical psychology programs to assess their opinions regarding proposed personality evaluation of doctoral applicants.
