Examined changes in intelligence in Negro children at ages 4 and 7 as a function of sex, home stability and educational level of their parents. Results were interpreted as supporting an interaction hypothesis concerning the relative effects of heredity and environment on intelligence. (DP)

The stereotype differential was used to assess stereotypes about English Canadians, French Canadians, and Canadian Indians in three age levels of school children, as well as their parents. Results indicated that as children grow older their stereotypes become more consensual, less evaluative, and more similar to those in the adult community. (JB)

Migrants who maintained long-term ties to the community before moving usually relied upon relatives for migration information, but relatives were not an essential reason for choosing the community.
