Results showed that socialization practices and perceptions of their helpfulness vary, affecting subsequent job satisfaction and commitment. Examined the relationship between marital status and job involvement in women retired from nonprofessional careers (58 ever married women and 22 never married women). This study investigated Israeli adolescents' differential perceptions of social conflicts in the "real" world and in television news.
