Students at Riveria Middle School in St. Petersburg, Florida, who complete an 18-week exploratory health occupations course, are given an opportunity to work as aides in the school's clinic. Failure- and misconduct-prone black and Hispanic high school students were given five weekly sessions of rational-emotive education.
