Expectancy statements resulted in greater self confidence, greater expectation of academic success, and greater interest in and perceived relevance of course material. (Author)

The Koppitz scoring of the Bender Gestalt Test for young children was used to predict educational attainment for 74 EMH students on reading, spelling, and arithmetic. Only on the arithmetic criterion did Bender scores increase prediction, beyond the factors of chronological age and IQ.

CUES scores for 75 colleges were related to college mean scores of 1964 entering freshmen on SAT(V) and SAT(M), sex composition of students, religion, and size of entering class.
