A test of Holland's vocational theory across and within selected occupational groups demonstrated concurrent validity for three of the four groups investigated. Statistically significant coefficients of concordance indicated a degree of agreement among individuals in each of the occupational groups investigated. (Author)

Differences in vocational interests, as measured by the Strong-Campbell Interest Inventory, between undergraduates having traditional, conservative attitudes towards the roles of women and those having contemporary, liberal attitudes were examined. Tabulation of the color discrimination requisites of a representative sample of jobs revealed that the majority of jobs require little or no color perception aptitude. Found the only male-female value difference concerned the convenience aspects of work.
