On the basis of an America Jewish Committee telephone survey of Americans who viewed one or more episodes of the television series on Nazi treatment of Jews during World War II ("Holocaust"), the article concluded that a majority of viewers approved of the presentation and wanted the schools to teach about the Holocaust.
