The present study represents an attempt to enhance the self-concepts of juvenile delinquents, with the prediction that the juveniles' behavior would become more socially acceptable as a result of the self-concept change. Significant results were obtained on the post-test of the TSCS. (Author/PC)

Six adolescents, all females, who were involved in a variety of drug misuse were self-referrals for treatment. Treatment consisted of an initial comprehensive psychological examination, three intensive sessions of hypnosis and a procedure to develop cue association in situations where the girls felt tense.
