An evaluation study assessed changes in perceived locus of control of adults who work in the drug abuse field and participated in a drug abuse training program. Two programs were examined with differing results. Outcomes are discussed with regard to group composition and scores. (Author)

An assertiveness training program specifically developed for mentally retarded adults was used to train 128 participants from four rehabilitation centers. Juvenile residents (N=12) were assigned to biofeedback or video game conditions to examine their effects on self-regulation skills. Results indicated no significant differences between biofeedback and video game training.
