Discussed are the exciting advantages and possibilities of using polystyrene trays found in meat packaging for printmaking. Among them are ease of use, low cost and quick availability of materials, beautiful textural effects. Procedures are explained for various age levels. (BF)

Elementary school boys in a program for the emotionally disturbed were administered the Revised Beery and Bender-Gestalt. A significant correlation of .73 between age-equivalent scores was obtained. Although mean scores did not differ significantly from one another, scores were quite varied. The implications of such variability are discussed.…

Investigates whether viewers of different ages are aware that camera lenses manipulate the apparent velocity and distance of events presented on television. Suggests that younger viewers do not understand how television production techniques manipulate perceptual information and may thus be misled by their use. (PD)

Results showed LD children's cognitive and affective role taking skills to be poorer than those of age-matched controls. However, performance on these tasks was not related to measures of peer domain social skills. Instead, these were found most consistently to relate to hyperactivity ratings. (Author/SEW)

Dance educators must define the concepts that distinguish dance from other disciplines and other forms of movement. Dance makes use of space, time, and force to become a distinctive art form involving kinesthetic perception and emotional self-expression, as well as motor skill development. (PP)
