Finken, Laura L.; Babcock, Renee L. – Educational Gerontology, 1996

Yaqub, Muhammad Zafar; Nazar, Muhammad Suhail; Yaqub, Rana Muhammad Shahid – Contemporary Issues in Education Research, 2009
The quality of output from a process, to a substantial extent, depends upon quality of the input. Hartley, James – Higher Education Review, 2007
Students attending a lecture usually have a wide range of prior knowledge about the topic in question. Rather than seeing this as a problem, lecturers can take advantage of such differences.
