Conscience strength in adolescence was correlated with the development of moral judgment among adolescents and was a predictor of subsequent development during adulthood. A similar pattern of results was obtained for measures of paternal identification and involvement, but not for the corresponding maternal variables. (RH)

Over 500 British adolescents aged 12 to 20 completed a questionnaire concerning their attitudes toward the role of women. Results showed males to be more traditional and conservative in their attitudes toward women than females. Results are discussed in terms of the socialization of sex differences. (Author/JDH)
