The article explains the six tasks involved in practical reasoning and describes a research project that centered around teaching a six-week course in critical thinking to inmates at a medium security prison in an attempt to determine the feasibility of implementing a moral education program in correctional institutions. This brief review of the impact of both new and old communications technologies on the dissemination of information argues that the machine is essentially a distribution system and that it is time to consider the social, political, and economic implications of the new technologies. Premorbid adjustment, paranoid symptomatology, and orientation were examined as major predictors of moral judgment maturity in 40 schizophrenics. Results suggest the importance of cognitive and social skills in the development of schizophrenics' moral judgment maturity. (Author/RH)

This study tried to systematically encourage the structure of moral judgment of adults toward change. The moral stage of subjects was measured before and after the treatment, a course in human sexuality. Results indicate that moral judgment can change during adulthood. (AM)
