Interviews with 1177 male and female college students revealed no significant differences in sexual behavior between those who took public school sex education courses and those who did not, nor between those taught about birth control or about coitus. The PSAS consists of two forms, a general, neutral version and a more extreme or concrete form. Study indicates that clique membership is related to academic performance but not attitude toward school. In the case studied, attitude of clique members was more highly related to achievement and attitude for male students.
