Hale, Robert L. – Journal of School Psychology, 1983
The 10 subtests comprising the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children--Revised (WISC-R) were independently factor analyzed for middle (N=107) and low (N=158) socioeconomic status children. Popkin, Samuel J., And Others – Educational Gerontology, 1983
Examined the validity of a parallel form of the Primary Mental Abilities test for use with adults aged 50 to 90 years. Significant intraindividual performance gains on the parallel form were observed on the verbal and number subtests, while the effect on space and reasoning subtests was less substantial. (Author/JAC)

Diessner, Rhett – G/C/T, 1983
L. Kholberg's model of moral development and the social learning theory both provide methods of perceiving the relationship between cognitive and moral development, and both are useful in application to the intellectually gifted child. Sutherland, Peter – Educational Studies, 1983
Among a cross-sectional sample of pupils of both sexes in Britain evidence showed accelerations in intellectual development at 7 and 16 years of age. Acceleration at the younger age is a new finding. Coolidge, Frederick L. – Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1983
Reanalyzed the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised subtest scores in Dean's 1978 study of learning disabled and emotionally disturbed children. Analysis revealed a marked similarity between the groups. Results support Sattler's contention that Dean's data do not present evidence of a perceptual organization deficit in learning…
