Examined the relationship between scores on the MMPI and concurrent and prior aggression. Analysis indicated sum of T scores for Scales F, 4, and 9 was valid measure of aggression. In a group of 20 severely to profoundly mentally retarded adults, an interactional dominance hierarchy was obtained by observing the frequency of patient contacts, the duration of contact, and the frequency of contact initiation.
