Disrupting with the Land: Integrating Land-Based Experiences in the Disrupting Interview
Robin Attas1
New Directions for Teaching and Learning, n184 p17-22 2025
In this chapter, the author describes the design and implementation of a Disrupting interview process that emphasized land-based practices as a means to disrupt both participants and the Disrupting framework itself. The chapter argues that by centering the land as an important element in Disrupting the Disciplines, practitioners can gain new insights and foster community while also more fully integrating some aspects of Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and relating.
