A three subscale inventory designed by Fenigstein, Scheier, and Buss to measure self-consciousness was administered to 297 college students. Fenigstein et al.'s representation was found to fit the data in its original form. Items on the subscales differ nearly as much statistically as they do substantively. (Author/LMO)

K-ABC (Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children) scores for 585 school-age children referred for psychological evaluation were factor analyzed. To explore the relationship between spatial ability and both image quality and image process efficiency, 79 subjects completed spatial tests, imagery questionnaires, and laboratory tasks. The development and construct validation of the Dimensions of Self-Concept (DOSC), Form H, are described. The 20-item subscales of the preliminary research form furnished parallel estimates of reliability ranging from .83 to .91.
