The effects of repeaters (testees included in both administrations of two forms of a test) on the test equating process are examined. It is shown that repeaters do effect test equating and tend to lower the cutoff point for passing the test. (JKS)

Frary, Robert B.; And Others – Journal of Experimental Education, 1977
To date a theoretical basis has not been developed for determining changes in reliability when score points from random guessing are eliminated and those from non-randon guessing are retained. This paper presents a derivation of an expression for the reliability coefficient which displays the effect of deleting score components due to random…

Raters judged essays on two occasions making it possible to address the question of whether multiple ratings, however obtained, represent the same true scores. Multiple ratings of a given rater did represent the same true scores, but ratings of different raters did not. Reliability, validity, and invalidity coefficients were computed. (Author/DWH)
