Engineering courses offered at Colorado State University can now be taken by Colorado junior college students through the use of video tape. This gives the potential transfer students a chance to take prerequisite courses not offered by their college, and similarly diminishes the college's need for additional, specially- trained faculty. Significant differences between faculty and trustee expectations of college presidents' behavior on 14 of 31 types of performance were noted in this recent study. While--as measured in this study--presidents did not appear to be affected by such differences, faculty confidence in the administrator's ability to lead was. (JO)
