Self-monitoring procedures were effective in increasing the number of daily homework assignments completed by eight secondary level students with learning disabilities. A longitudinal cohort of 1,209 elementary students who had high exposure to the Know Your Body program had significantly lower cholesterol and blood pressure. Relationships among knowledge about AIDS, sex guilt, components of the Health Belief Model, and self-reported safer sex practices were examined in first-year college students.
