Two studies are reported. The first presents the standardization of the 16-scale Clarke Parent-Child Relations Questionnaire (PCR) for adults. Two bipolar factors emerged, one for mother and one for father. The second study compared seven sexually deviant male groups with normal controls. (Author)

Videotaped models and role playing were investigated for their effects on delinquents' interpersonal behavior at school and their group home. Experimental subjects improved more than controls during the group home videotapes period, but was not maintained. No effect of the school videotapes was found, possibly due to a ceiling effect. Clients at a mental health center were studied from intake until their fifth appointment and excuses to avoid contact were recorded and correlated with dropout. An 82 percent identification rate of dropouts was achieved, while the base rate of dropouts was 53 percent of the sample. (NG)

A pilot study was undertaken at the State University of New York at Stony Brook to determine what information "graffiti" might reveal. Some of the results, especially revealing student concern with sex, homosexuality and race, are briefly discussed. (EJT)

This study examined the interpersonal and sexual relationships of lesbians. Like most women, lesbians prefer slow moving, affectionate relationships and tend to remain with one partner for long periods of time. Their role in the university community is also discussed. (Author/EJT)

The study concerns the interaction of an equalitarian norm and the wife's contribution of resources with her ability to affect the decision-making and the division of labor in the families of recent Cuban immigrants. The study points up the need to focus on sources of norms as influential factors. (Author)

It was found that the principal correlates of happiness vary as one proceeds through the family life cycle. (Author)

Characteristics of addicts (N=222) and their own appraisal of which treatment modality they found most successful based upon their own experiences are of primary importance in prescribing a treatment for the addict. For the long-term addict continually in and out of prisons, perhaps methadone maintenance is the solution. (Author)

Relationship between women's motives for studying law and later satisfaction in legal work was examined longitudinally. Highly satisfied women attorneys were, as students, realistic in expecting practical benefits from legal careers. They were confident fulfillment could be found through work in law and found theoretical aspects of legal study…

Students' attitudes toward women and changes in those attitudes after taking a women's studies course were studied. The Spence Attitude Toward Women Scale was administered to 354 undergraduate students at two midwestern institutions. Results showed attitudes toward women became more liberal after taking a women's studies course. (Author)
