Two self-report measures of openness and two behavioral measures of openness were administered to 50 subjects prior to and immediately following one of four treatment procedures. Contrary to prediction, none of the measures indicated an increase in openness for those subjects who had undergone openness-promoting treatments. (Author)

Tests whether self-management under a variety of experimental conditions could reduce the disruptive behavior of adolescents in a special classroom. A reinforcement schedule and spatial titration method were used to determine task-reinforcement area separation most preferred and effective in two third-grade boys.
