Eleven curative factors form a triangular framework for conceptual integration of the concerns, developmental dynamics, theoretical perspectives, and leader behaviors that characterize group counseling. Examined whether gender composition and task structure affect communicative behavior in small groups. Groups with different numbers of men and women were given a highly structured assignment and a human relations case study. Interaction process analysis supported the hypothesis only for dominance acts of giving suggestions. (BH)

Compared the effects of a film presentation, written presentation, or a combination of both as a pregroup training method for students (N=67) participating in short-term personal growth groups.
