This study tested the relative effects of Crystal and Bolles's life/work-planning process on factors related to vocational choice: aspirations, expectations, resident skills, and preferences. The results indicated that the process is an effective strategy to use to facilitate agreement between factors. (Author)

A 60-item short form of the Mnnesota Teacher Attitude Inventory (MTAI) was compared to the present 150-item form to determine whether the same constructs were common to both sets of items. Factor analyses for the same 16 variables at grades 5, 7, 9, 11 have been computed for white and black males and females. The latent roots as analyzed in three ways show a clear but small increase in the number of common factors during this time period, particularly for the white groups. (RC)

A principal components analysis of the Family Environment Scale (FES) (R. Moos and B. Moos, 1994) was performed using 113 undergraduates. The factor structures of the 10 Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-III core subtests were studied with 161 black students receiving special education services.
