A modified multitrait-multimethod validation matrix was generated to evaluate the construct validity of the Revised Children's Manifest Anxiety Scale (RCMAS). Results were consistent with the use of RCMAS as a measure of chronic, manifest anxiety levels in children. Large correlations occurred with other trait measures of anxiety. (Author/PN)

Using sampling theory, the amount of classroom time to be sampled and observed to obtain precise descriptions is analyzed.
